Advocacy Program

Advocacy is defined the act of pleading or arguing in favor of something, such as a cause, idea, or policy; active support; to endorse; to support and/or defend; sing the praises of! This is the objective of our team of Mercy Ministries Advocates. Over the years, Mercy Ministries Advocates have been making presentations to local churches, community groups and schools about the work of Mercy Ministries Canada. This has enabled Mercy Ministries to impart the vision, by gradually starting to impact the community around us, to both community and Christian organizations. For Mercy Ministries to expand into all provinces of Canada and beyond, it is essential that we increase awareness throughout the community to reach hurting young women and also to expand our financial partnership base.

The aim of our Advocacy Program is to train and equip passionate people, who are already passionate about Mercy Ministries, to go out into the community and share the vision of Mercy Ministries. We offer a two evening training course to individuals interested in joining the Advocacy Program.
